Manager physically assaults workers at Yura factory in Serbia 1 October, 2024A South Korean manager at Yura’s Leskovac factory in Serbia, physically assaulted three female workers during the first shift on 27 September. The victims, employed in seated preparation roles due to medical conditions developed while working at Yura, were initially subjected to verbal abuse before he kicked their chairs and threw one at them. One worker sustained injuries and another lost consciousness, requiring hospital treatment.

IndustriAll Europe and IndustriALL Global Union condemn this attack and reiterate their support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people and trade unions, and all workers affected. Both organizations call on the United Nations, the international community and the European Commission, Council and Parliament to guarantee reinforced political support for an immediate peace in Ukraine.
Organizing electronics workers along the entire supply chain 17 June, 2024IndustriALL Global Union ICT electrical and electronics steering committee pledges to double organizing efforts to defend workers' rights in the sector. Global union leaders affirm support for Palestinian trade unions and the Palestinian people30 May, 2024This week leaders of eight Global Union Federations (GUFs) and the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) travelled to Ramallah to convey their solidarity to unions in the West Bank and Gaza. These organisations represent almost every sector of the global economy and have members in more than 150 countries representing over 200 million workers. Working with Palestinian affiliates and others, the GUFs, all members of the Council of Global Unions (CGU), pledged to intensify efforts to help local trade unions navigate these difficult times for workers and fulfil their role as key drivers of change in Palestine.
