12 January, 2000Toni Ferigo, from Turin, Italy, has joined the IMF Secretariat in Geneva.
GENEVA: Toni Ferigo comes to the IMF from the International Department of the Federazione Lavoratori Metalmeccanici (FLM), the confederation of the three Italian metalworkers' unions affiliated to the IMF. Previously, he was a metalworker at Electrolux and Fiat in Turin, where he also started his career as an active trade unionist.
In the IMF Secretariat, Toni Ferigo is a member of the Organisation and Solidarity Team. He will be responsible for, among other things, Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America.
