GLOBAL: A participant at the recent Occupational Health and Safety Working Party of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions announced he is collecting information regarding memorials which have been erected to workers killed in the course of their employment.
The attempt is to obtain photographs of such memorials, along with information concerning why, when and by whom they were erected and, most importantly, where.
The objective will be to compile a record of these memorials, which will be published in a book designated for this purpose.
Anyone able to provide such information is kindly asked to contact the IMF through its website on [email protected] or by fax on (41/22) 308-5055, to the attention of Len Powell.
