BIRMINGHAM: The Central Committee of the International Metalworkers' Federation, meeting this week in Birmingham, UK, has unanimously elected a new member to sit on the international trade union's Executive Committee. He is Hlokoza Motau, the international officer of the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa.
Motau replaces Peter Dantjie, also from South Africa, who was formerly the acting general secretary of NUMSA.
