GENEVA: Many speakers at the IMF Congress in Sydney, Australia, contributed with proposals and ideas, says IMF general secretary in his new column on this website.
"Especially interesting," stated Marcello Malentacchi, "was that several young women took the floor and asked for more resources and better opportunities for women to be involved in international work. They were constructive and positive in their approach, and we will have to implement their proposals in the best possible way. This is good for the IMF."
