The ICEM has responded to a call issued by Industrianställda I Nordic (Nordic IN), the new five-nation trade union federation of industries, to protest Estonia’s proposed changes to their labour code. The proposed Employees’ Representatives Act, which would weaken trade union protections, was the main focus in meetings today between Estonia’s trade unions and the Ministry of Social Affairs.
