25 May, 2012A Global Framework Agreement (GFA) with Swedish-based company SKF, at that time covering 39,000 employees at 80 manufacturing sites in 22 countries, was signed on November 1, 2003.
The GFA acknowledges the company's social responsibility and the basic right of all employees to establish and join trade unions of their choice and to bargain collectively.
The agreement also states that all employees must be treated equally, fairly and with respect, regardless of race, gender, age, national origin, disability, caste, religion, sexual orientation, union membership or political affiliation.
