GENEVA: With the failure of the WTO negotiations in Seattle, the trade unions have lost two years of hard work, says Marcello Malentacchi. We must start over again and organise our actions even better before the next meeting in two years.
For that, we need allies. There are many NGOs which are on the same side as the trade unions. But we should select them carefully.
