DENMARK: The president of the Danish Metalworkers' Union, Max Baehring, became the president of the Nordic Metal Council in September this year and will be representing the IMF's Nordic affiliates in the Executive Committee, succeeding Per-Erik Lundh, of Finland, who has retired.
Baehring has been president of Dansk Metal since his election in 1991.
